The TRWA has over the years had some really great visitor comments, posts on websites and social media, news articles and so much more. We have never solicited these comments but are so grateful that visitors enjoy this special and unique adventure in Townsend.
In late June 2024, a visitor suggested adding a nature notebook on the River View Platform for visitors to record nature observations, sketches, and notes. We have added that and have had some wonderful comments.

I live in France and I am here on holiday; This Riverwalk is a delight. Thank you for all the effort that has gone into this place, I love it. The detail and creativity are wonderful. God bless this place as a place of soothing, restful restoration and creative inspiration.

Hi! My name is Michelle and I came here with my 3 sons aged 10, 13, and 15. We enjoyed a bagel and cream cheese breakfast on your lovely bench. My 13 years old has stopped at each sign to learn more about the local plant life. It is very useful & informative, especially with the numbers pointing out the trees/plants. Very nice, short and shaded nature walk on the Little River. Was the perfect length and difficulty for our family with our toddler.

The birds, the river, the "off trail" cave, and all the marked plants are wonderful.

We came here from Georgia bc of a mix up with an airbb rental in Franklin NC. We had never been to Townsend, TN. We have fallen totally for it!! Thanks your for the sweet, peaceful walk among the trees. Our grandchildren enjoyed checkers as we watched inflatable rafts go down the river sitting on the bench. Thank you so much for all your hard work!
