Funds from this Campaign will be used to complete the Picnic Area, Demonstration Rain Water Garden, Children's Play Train, Plants, Bear proof Trash Can and Pet Liter Bag Dispenser. Donate Today!
The Townsend River Walk & Arboretum Picnic Area, Demonstration Rain Water Garden, Children's Wooden Play Train and More is scheduled to be completed in 2025 and is estimated to cost $ 7,000. We are providing the volunteers but we need your generous donations for the materials.

- Picnic Area base will be crushed stone with geo textile and geo-cells providing the support. It will be level with the existing greenway.

Children's Play Area
- Four Car Wooden Train on Wooden Rails
- Base for Train will be built using crushed stone with geo textile and geo-cells providing the support.

- Bear-proof Trash Receptacle (City of Townsend will provide twice weekly trash pickup)
