Recently two cement benches have been installed along the River Walk. Both were donated in memoriam.
One bench was donated by Tuckaleechee Garden Club members, Elaine and Bob Russell, in memoriam of Tommy Miller in recognition of the work he did on the trail several years ago
The other was donated by Russ and Anne Sorvillo donated the one in memory of their son because he loved the mountains and Townsend area so much.
They are located in great places along the walk with the river in the background.
Theresa Schehr did a wonderful work with the inscriptions.
