The Townsend River Walk & Arboretum Picnic Area, Demonstration Rain Water Garden, Children's Wooden Play Train and More is scheduled to be completed in 2025 and is estimated to cost $ 7,000. We are providing the volunteers but we need your generous donations for the materials.

Theresa Schehr add a Yellow Twig Dogwood as an addition to the River Walk and also added some plants and mulch around the Blount County Master Gardener sign. The Yellow Twig Dogwood is located by the Butterfly Garden. Looking forward to see this beauty in late fall and winter.
