TRWA 2025 Picnic Area / Demonstration Rain Garden Fund Raiser Progress as of 2025.04.07
Our last major project at the Townsend River Walk & Arboretum is now under way and we need your support!
The TRWA Picnic Area / Demonstration Rain Water Garden will cost approximately $7000 to construct!
The labor will done by the TRWA volunteers, so the funds donated go directly to the materials used to complete this project.
Our Fundraiser started April 1 and will go thru April 30.
GBU Life is Matching the First $2000 Raised!
After the first week of fund raising we are close to receiving the match from GBU Life. We are still $3000 short of our goal.
The Townsend River Walk & Arboretum is a community treasure and is used by City of Townsend Residents and Visitors alike.
All enhancements and maintenance are done by a dedicate group of volunteers with help when needed from the City of Townsend Maintenance Dept.
