When planning for the Children's Discovery Garden we had come across ideas for a Mud Kitchen and we knew we had to have one.  We looked at hundred's of ideas and when we were ready Rodney and Allison Pearson took the best of all the ideas and came up with what we believe is the ultimate Mud Kitchen.   Rodney and Allison designed, built, decorated and supplied the kitchen adding so many extras like: Stove top, oven, sink, shelves, utensils, pots, pans and more.  With all of the extras kids now have the entire arboretum to find ingredients to create their mud pies. What a great way for kids to explore the arboretum and finding the freedom to create.  On the back of the mud kitchen is chalkboard and a Leaf Line.  The idea of the Leaf Line is for kids to collect leaves throughout the Arboretum and have place hang and identify them.   Stop by and enjoy this fantastic addition to the Children's Discovery Garden and give Rodney and Allison a big THANKS when you see them!
