The Townsend River Walk & Arboretum Picnic Area, Demonstration Rain Water Garden, Children's Wooden Play Train and More is scheduled to be completed in 2025 and is estimated to cost $ 7,000.   We are providing the volunteers but we need your generous donations for the materials.

Late Summer into Fall is one of the most beautiful times at the Townsend River Walk & Arboretum.  The Wingstem (Yellow & White), Golden Rod (many varieties), Ironweed and a variety of asters provide a multi-colored nature experience.   Enjoy an evening walk among these tall Fall flowers from now and for the next few weeks.  It is a feast for the eyes!
