Tuckaleechee Garden Club and Townsend River Walk & Arboretum Celebrate National Garden WeekThe Tuckaleechee Garden Club and the Townsend River Walk & Arboretum will be celebrating National Garden Week (June 6 - 12, 2021) by planting four varieties of Redbud trees next to our Tribe of Dogwood Trees at the Townsend River Walk & Arboretum along US 321.  We will be working there each morning on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Stop by and check out our progress, ask questions (all gardening questions welcomed) or just say HI!

There are many ways you to can celebrate National Garden Week.  One of the best ways is to visit a local Garden and get ideas for your own garden.  Plus it is fun for the entire family.  Places to visit in our area: Townsend River Walk & Arboretum; UT Gardens in Knoxville; UT Arboretum in Oak Ridge; Knoxville Botanical Garden and Arboretum; the Ivan Racheff House and Gardens located in Knoxville and home to the Tennessee Garden Clubs and of course the biggest and one of the most diverse gardens of all, The Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
